This file contains a photocopy of an original letter from 1807 and a typewritten copy of the letter from the Superintendent of Indian affairs in Nova Scotia. The superintendent is informing that on the 20th of October, "the province was divided into Twelve Indigenous districts." The districts include Canso, Antigonish, Pictou, Cumberland, Minas Basin, Cobequid, Annapolis, St. Mary's Bay, Shelburne, Liverpool, and Chester.
