Brief entitled "The urgent need for lengthening the runways at the Kenora airport, and particularly the East-West runway (at present the only paved runway, with a length of 4,000 feet) to 6,000 feet in view of the sharp increase in the number of jet and turbo jet aircraft using the airport in the past four years (from 112 in 1965 to 696 in 1968).
