Bereik en inhoud
This file contains photocopies of an article (from Jesuit Relations, 1642) and clippings regarding Jean-Baptiste Atironta. Atironta was a Wendat Captain who took part in the 1645 peace council at Trois-Rivieres. At the council, Atrionta spoke out about the following conclusion being reached, "We all are relatives - Iroquois, Hurons, Algonquins, and French, we are now but one and the same people". [Originally titled: Atironta, Jean Baptiste (Huron)]
