Loose Correspondence and Agreements

This folder includes several of the Thunder Bay Co-Operative Dairy's Finnish newspaper advertisements, as well as written inquiries from former employees, motions and follow-up items from the Board of Directors' meetings, and copies of legal agreements.

Note: This is the final ledger. The Thunder Bay Co-Operative Dairy officially ceased operation on February 28, 1969; however, the Board of Directors oversaw its liquidation from 1969-1972.

This Board of Directors' Minutes ledger pertains to the inception of the Thunder Bay Co-Operative Dairy, including names of the founding board members, special directors' meetings, by-laws, bank loans, deeds, fire insurance, milk production and delivery routes, and participating townships. This ledger also includes the co-op's initial price of milk, butter, and buttermilk, as well as the date of the co-op's grand opening.
