Otava Mixed Choir directed by Kosti Koivukoski, Port Arthur, 1939. (Otava Choir was formed in 1938, was a mixed choir until 1952 when it became a male choir. The women were assimilated into the Oras Choir which was changing from a mixed to a ladies choir. In 1940, the mixed Otava Choir won first prize for mixed choirs at the Lakehead Music Festival in Thunder Bay.) Donor: Thunder Bay Finnish Canadian Historical Society.
