A Glimpse of our Community Eighty Years Ago - booklet

"This booklet has been prepared for the Senior Grades to accompany an Education Week Radio Broadcast on the early history of Port Arthur. The historical information has been found in the files of the Thunder Bay Sentinel, 1875 to 1878, Prince Arthur Landing's first weekly newspaper published by Mr. Michael Hagen. It is hoped that time may be allowed for listeners to stud these pages before the time of the broadcast. It is suggested that listeners have this outline before them during the broadcast."

Tugboat Hattie Vinton

Two mounted photographs of the tugboat Hattie Vinton, on the Kaministiquia River across from Westfort, and with Captain Larry Servais.
