Entries relate to family, to the work of mink farming, and to weather and wildlife.<lb/><lb/>Arthur Ellsworth "Elza" Swaim (1881-1953) was CNR section foreman in Larson, Ontario, where he also established and earned renown for a large mink ranch. He lived in Larson with his wife Josephine "Josie."</p>
